Thank you for creating something for me! I have a lot of things I like, so I hope it's pretty easy for you. But also, this letter gets long, so sorry about that. Please don't feel the need to read the entire thing. All the general stuff is up top and then I'll break it down into ships.

Other stuff

Generally, I don't really care about top/bottom. I have some preferences, but the only one that I have a strong preference for is Brendol Hux. The others aren't that strong and I am happy to see things the other way around too!

If you wanna ignore TLJ and TROS related stuff, please do. I didn't care for those ones so you can ignore them entirely or just pick and choose some of the fun elements from them. With Rey, I would prefer her not being related to Palpatine (at least not more so than the other Skywalkers). I do love her as Han and Leia's daughter, but I also like her as Luke's daughter too. Or not related to anyone is okay.

Armitage Hux/Kylo Ren

Everything about these two is perfect. They're perfect for each other and they both absolutely hate that. I don't mind where you go with this. So hate sex is great and so is them being in a loving, caring relationship. One thing in particular Iike with them is rimming. Typically Kylo eating out Hux, but I do like the other way around too. Also I really like where Kylo is obsessed with Hux's ass and Hux is obsessed with Kylo's titties. Titty fucking is great too!

Armitage Hux/Kylo Ren/Knights of Ren

I really like the idea of the Knights as a dark side sex cult. Maybe Kylo is bringing Hux into the cult or Hux walks in on one of their rituals and is fascinated. Or maybe the KoR know of Kylo's interest in Hux and they need to make sure he's worthy of their master. I also don't mind if Kylo and Hux are together and the KoR are not sexually involved with them, but maybe they all cuddle together. Or if it's a situation where one or two of the Knights are involved.

Armitage Hux/Matt the Radar Technician/Kylo Ren

Another one similar to kylux. The obvious situation here is Matt and Kylo both fucking Hux at the same time which is hot. But Hux fucking both Kylo and Matt? Also hot. This could be a silly scenario where Hux doesn't realize that Matt and Kylo are two different people and is surprised when he finally sees them both together. I don't necessarily care if Kylo and Matt are doing much with each other, but they can be if you'd like.

Armitage Hux/Dopheld Mitaka/Kylo Ren

I feel like this could be a dubcon situation with Mitaka, although I would want him to at least enjoy himself. I like scenarios where kylux bring Mitaka in or where Kylo and Mitaka are together with Hux joining in. Or if they all three decide to get together as a throuple, that works too.  An idea I like is that Mitaka is secretly keeping the First Order running by fucking Kylo and Hux, because the two of them on their own would just be trying to kill each other, but Mitaka can bring them together.

Kylo Ren/Tai

I don't know, they're just cute together. I love that Tai is the one person who really seemed to understand Ben/Kylo and one of the only ones who accepted him just how he was. This would be a cute/awkward first time for both of them or just the most gentle sex Ben's ever had. For a darker flavor, maybe Tai survives stays with Kylo after he falls and has to watch the man he loves slowly disappear.

Poe Dameron/Armitage Hux, Poe Dameron/Kylo Ren, Poe Dameron/Armitage Hux/Kylo Ren

I like all combinations of these three. Maybe Poe and Ben used to be a thing and then hook up again despite being on different sides (and maybe Kylo introduces him to his new bf Hux). Or maybe Hux and Poe have a drunken hook up and are horrified to realize who the other is (and also can't keep away from each other). Or maybe it's a scenario where Hux was never taken from Arkanis and works with the Resistance or Ben never turned. Or maybe Kylo and/or Hux are trying to turn over a new leaf and redeem themselves after the war and end up with Poe. I really do like so many scenarios with them. If all three of them are together and it's not just a quick hookup, I'd prefer that it's an equal relationship where they all care about the others and there's no jealousy or anything.

Armitage Hux/Kylo Ren/Rose Tico, Kylo Ren/Rose Tico

This one might require an AU to get them together. Either that or maybe Rose is part of the First Order. I also don't mind redeemed (or "redeemed") Kylo (and Hux) that somehow manage to get Rose to like him/them enough to start a relationship. A hatesex situation could work too, although maybe with most of the hate on Rose's part and Kylo just being horny and not caring. Also Rose pegging Kylo? Fuck yes. Also Rose pegging Kylo while Kylo and Hux are 69ing. If all three of them are together, it's cool to have Kylo in a relationship with both Rose and Hux but Rose and Hux not really doing much with each other. 

Dopheld Mitaka/Rose Tico

I just think it could be cute. Maybe an enemies to lovers scenario with Mitaka working for the Resistance or even prisoner Mitaka. I also like where it starts as hate sex but Rose can't keep hating Mitaka because he's really sweet. 

Finn/Rey

The ultimate cute ship! I love all the soft scenarios with them and them just being completely in love with each other. Also good is where they're both inexperienced and just figuring things out together. As much as I love just straight up soft with them, I also like it when they're a little kinky. And when they use the Force on each other! A really important part of their relationship for me is trust. Like they just trust each other so much that they're not afraid to try new things or tell the other to slow down or switch to doing something different.

Jannah/Rose Tico, Rey/Rose Tico

Resistance women! Who doesn't like cute ladies banging? Kinda thinking more cute and soft with them. Maybe it's a first relationship for them since they've been involved in the war and now they finally have time to do their own thing or figure out what they want to do now that they're not fighting. Also, if you wanted to do Jannah/Rose/Rey, go for it! 

Knights of Ren/Dopheld Mitaka

Sweet little Mitaka with his six big, scary Knights. I like this where Mitaka gets fucked by all of them but also, Mitaka topping all the Knights? Hell yes! I love the KoR fighting over Mitaka too. Like who gets to be first or who gets to cuddle with him (because all the KoR trying to cuddle Mitaka is adorable). Also like silly scenarios where the KoR are all trying to court Mitaka but then they all end up with him. I usually prefer at least some of the KoR to be non-human, so please feel free to give them whatever kind of genitalia that you like.

Poe Dameron/Dopheld Mitaka

Just another Mitaka ship that seems cute. I could see this where they hook up during the war without knowing the other is on the other side. Or post-war and Poe's helping former FO personnel adapt to their new lives and Mitaka can't help but fall in love. Maybe a plottier fic where Mitaka and Poe have hooked up, and one of them is captured so the other decides to help them escape (and of course, bang on the way).


Poe Dameron/Finn/Rey, Poe Dameron/Finn/Rey/Rose Tico

I love the Resistance trio together. Just them being cute. And if Rose is involved with them too, that's cool. I like where Poe is the only one with experience and he plans on taking things slow, but then Finn and Rey are so unbelievable horny and adventurous that they immediately get into some kinky stuff and Poe is shocked. I don't mind some insecurity on Poe or Rose's part where they feel like Finn and Rey have a bond through the Force and they're just "extra" but then Finn and Rey assure them that they love them just as much as they love each other. If it's Poe/Finn/Rey, I like all three of them in an equal relationship (or mostly - maybe Poe and Rey don't have sex with each other, but just kiss and touch). If Rose is included, it can be an equal relationship or it could be a thing where Poe and Finn are fucking, Rose and Rey are fucking, and Finn and Rey are fucking and maybe they're all doing this together but Poe doesn't interact much with Rose and Rey and Rose isn't doing much with Finn or Poe.

Armitage Hux's Mother/Maratelle Hux, Armitage Hux's Mother/Maratelle Hux/Rae Sloane, Armitage Hux's Mother/Rae Sloane

I like the idea of these ladies bonding over mutual hatred of Brendol and that developing into a relationship. And if they murder him (and fuck over his corpse) that would be beautiful. But also, there's probably a lot of hurt, and it would be nice for them to be able to work their way through that while building up a healthy relationship and moving on from all the shit Brendol put them through. 

Brendol Hux/Gilad Pellaeon, Moff Gideon/Brendol Hux/Gilad Pellaeon, Moff Gideon/Brendol Hux

Everyone else saw that two minute scene in Mando and thought Pellaeon and Brendol were fucking, right?  I also like the idea of Gideon fucking Brendol, and of course, I gotta combine that into one relationship. I had a scenario in mind where Brendol is basically Pellaeon's bitch  and Pellaeon loans him to Gideon (maybe as part of some deal idk). And I just love where Brendol is a massive slut, so he's happy to let Gideon fuck him. Also, it's good when Gideon and Brendol are in a hatesex relationship and they're fucking whenever they happen to cross paths (but they're angry about it). 

For these ships, I would want to have Brendol as the bottom. Also, Brendol can die if you wanna off him.

Elia Kane/Dedra Meero, Natasi Daala/Rae Sloane, Natasi Daala/Rae Sloane/Ysanne Isard

Evil lesbians in space, fuck yeah! I imagine for all of these, it might just be a relationship of convenience or even hatesex. Or maybe they're fucking as a way to advance their agendas. I can't really imagine any of them as wanting to be in a regular, loving relationship (idk maybe Sloane does) but I don't mind them being written that way either.

Sheev Palpatine/Brendol Hux

I just think Brendol loves dick and having the Emperor's dick in him would be the best thing Brendol could ever experience. Feel free to be serious with this or take it in a crack direction. I would want Brendol to bottom and feel free to kill off either Sheev or Brendol or both. I think it'd be kinda funny if Sheev has a heart attack while fucking Brendol and Brendol panics cause he killed Palpy and dies too.


Sheev Palpatine/Snoke

If you wanna keep the idea that Sheev made Snoke, I'm okay with that because honestly, it's a really funny idea that Sheev had to make his own boyfriend. But also, Snoke can be whatever else you want him to be. I just want him and Sheev to have weird, dark-side sex. And bonus points for weird genitals. And for Force lightning being involved. Like seriously, be weird with them. Although maybe they're also having the most vanilla sex because they can't manage anything else. Or they're trying really hard to fuck, but they're out of space viagra. I do prefer bottom Snoke for this one.

Mara Jade/Luke Skywalker, Mara Jade/Luke Skywalker/Luuke Skywalker

So I love Luke/Mara. They're just perfect to me. I like them having hatesex when they first meet (except it's only hatesex on Mara's part and Luke is probably oblivious) or being soft. Also I really like Mara topping because you know she does. I also like the idea of Mara fucking both Luke and his evil clone. Luke would probably be like "i would not fuck my clone because what if he's evil" and Mara's like "if you're not gonna fuck him, I will." Maybe she misheard Palpy's command and she heard "you will fuck Luke Skywalker's brains out" and now there's two of them so she better fuck 'em both.

Mara Jade/Mirax Terrik

I feel like they would just have a lot of respect for each other and that could easily lead to them fucking. Maybe they're on a mission together and they get stranded and just end up growing really close. Or they're stuck somewhere cold and have to huddle for warmth (naked, of course) and one thing leads to another. Or maybe they just have a long-standing relationship and hook up whenever they can. If they are married, I would want Luke and Corran to know about the relationship and be okay with it. It could also be a thing where Mara and Mirax fuck and Luke and Corran are fucking. But also it's cool if it's a scenario where they're not married.

Talon Karrde/Luke Skywalker

I don't have much for these two. I just know that they'd bang.

Tenel Ka Djo/Jacen Solo

Han and Leia's son who turned to the dark side and a no-nonsense, badass redhead? This sure seems familiar. Okay, that's where the kylux similarities end. But if you wanted to write this as taking place after Jacen's turned to the dark side and it's angry sex? I wouldn't say no. But also it could be them as Jedi needing to relieve some stress after a tough mission or Tenel Ka just needs a break from Hapan bs and she goes to Jacen for comfort. I do really like Tenel Ka topping, but if you wanna go a more traditional route, that's cool too.

Wedge Antilles/Luke Skywalker, Wedge Antilles/Tycho Celchu, Wes Janson/Derek Klivian

These pilots spend so much time together. Of course they bang. I feel like all these pairs are just them bonding with each other and with all the time they spend together and all they go through during the war, they're going to end up really close. So definitely thinking more on the softer side with these pairs, although Janson and Hobbie could also be on the kinky side.

Cassian Andor/Syril Karn

This is such a perfect set up for some hatesex. And Syril clearly needs to get fucked so yeah, why not? Although I think in this case, he'd just be worse after instead of more laid back. I have no idea how this would happen, but that's what PWP is for lmao. Or maybe just make an AU if it's easier to get 'em to bang that way.

Din Djarin/Cobb Vanth, Din Djarin/Luke Skywalker, Din Djarin/Luke Skywalker/Cobb Vanth

I like dinluke and I like marshalorian and I like all three of them combined. Probably more on the sweet side for these pairings. Or maybe Din and Luke are arguing about Jedi/Mando stuff and decide to fuck it out. It would be kinda fun if Din and Luke are bringing up old Jedi and Mando crap and Cobb tries to settle them down it ends up with them banging. Feel free for Din to either leave the helmet on or take it off. Or maybe they have to fuck in a dark room. However you'd like to do that. If all three of them are together, I like an equal relationship or Din with both Luke and Cobb but Luke and Cobb not really being together. 

The Armorer/Bo-Katan Kryze

What better way to bring together the two groups of Mandalorians than their leaders getting married/fucking?  Could be fun as a political marriage type thing. Possibly with anger and resentment that turns to affection. Could see this as hatesex or in a scenario where they like each other. Or where they do like each other but they're confused about it, so it becomes angry.

C-3PO/Clippy

Okay, so Clippy and C-3PO are both running around giving out advice that no one asked for, so someone locks them in a room together hoping they'll just annoy each other but they get along really well so obviously they have sex. How a robot and a talking paperclip have sex is up to you. Maybe Clippy just elongates and goes in some opening of C-3PO. Please make it as weird (and annoying) as you like.

Cassian Andor/Jabba the Hutt

Cassian needs to experience that texture! It can be crack or PWP or maybe a serious take where Cassian has to work with Jabba for the Rebellion and he's gotta fuck him to get what he needs. Reluctant Cassian is okay, but he should enjoy himself! He can also be very enthusiastic! Also, if you wanna do realistic slug sex, I'm all for that. 

Chewbacca/Snoke

I don't even know. But why not? I'd prefer bottom Snoke here lmao but honestly, I'd just be happy for this ship to exist in any form.

I really like Clippy and Sheev because they're both evil. And why not throw Snoke or a train in there? I'm all for a lot of weirdness here. Like Clippy can grow a dick or something or somehow have an orifice if he's bottoming. I also like Clippy being a bit of a dom to Sheev and/or Snoke. But probably a really mean one and he'd be choking Sheev and say some shit like "It looks like you can't breathe. Would you like some help with that?" and then he'd choke him harder. 

Feel free to kill any of these characters if you'd like. Like if Thomas wants to fuck Sheev and then run him over, I'm all for that. Also I know nothing about Thomas the Tank Engine, I just think Sheev have sex with a train is funny. 

Finn/Rey/Knights of Ren

I don't know how this one works. Like maybe after the war, Finn and Rey are trying to rebuild the Jedi and come across the Knights who are just doing their own thing. And they take them in and it ends up with them all being in a relationship together. Maybe they try to rehabilitate them lmao or give them some actual training. I see the KoR as always being chaotic, but maybe they chill a little. You can pick and choose some of the KoR or use all of them (except Kylo, he doesn't count).

Jar Jar Binks/Jabba the Hutt

The hottest couple in Star Wars. Just let them fuck and make it nasty. Realistic slug sex is great, but also whatever comes to mind, throw it in there. Give em multiple dicks or orifices  and let Jar Jar use that tongue and make the sex last 12 hours. The weirder the better! I feel like this is good crack/PWP territory, but I would also die if someone did a very serious take on this with them being very deeply in love.

Maybe they were secretly married. Maybe Sheev is the reason Jar Jar was banished. And maybe Jar Jar is mad about it and they have angry make up sex on Coruscant. I love weird scenarios even if they don't make sense and I love weird sex, so please go wild with it!

Sheev Palpatine/Jabba the Hutt

The weirder the better! I don't know why they're fucking, only that they are! Feel free to make it realistic slug sex (and if Sheev dies after getting a love dart lmfao). Another scenario: slave Sheev. In the bikini and everything.

Knights of Ren/Dopheld Mitaka/Rose Tico

Another random ship with the KoR. I really don't know how they get together, but they will have lots of sex. If you wanna do strange scenarios like somehow Rose is the new master of the Knights, go for it. Or maybe everyone's at some kind of sex festival and they all hook up. Whatever works.

Sheev Palpatine/Yoda

Maybe the Jedi and Sith should have just fucked it out. I don't know. I do know there's a lot of weird Force nonsense happening. Like maybe they're trying to fight while fucking. Also, give Yoda a really weird dick cause why not?

If you'd like to toss in other pairings in the background, I am okay with kylux, gingerpilot, finnpoe, finnrey, luke/mara, dincobb, or dinluke as long as none of those characters are involved in the requested pairing! So background kylux or gingerpilot cool in a reyrose fic, but please not if it you're writing Hux/Poe/Finn.

For the most part, I don't care about top/bottom for sexual content. A few pairings have a preference, but there is not any pairing that it actually matters, so feel free to draw/write it the other way around if you'd like!

Also, for anything sequel trilogy related, feel free to ignore TLJ and TROS as much as you like. I did not particularly care for those movies so if you wanna pick pieces from them or ignore them entirely, go for it! My go-to with Rey is that she's Han and Leia's daughter, but she can be Luke's or someone else's kid or no one's. And if Ben's last name is actually Organa... that's more than okay! Also, everyone can survive because why not? Except Pryde. Although if you want him to be alive so you can kill him, I am happy with that!

In general, I'm okay with any version of the characters, even if they were nominated under something specific! Or mixing and matching versions of characters. Whatever makes your fic/art what you're happy with!

A lot of this is kinda fic centric, but if you are doing art: I love anything and everything! Cuddling and kissing are probably two of my favorite things in art but really, I would love anything you make!

Also feel free to go a little darker and severely injure characters, throw in some infidelity (Jabba getting mad that Jar Jar is cheating on him with Sheev? DO IT). If you'd like to take a Darth Jar Jar route, that would be amazing. I feel like Sheev/Yoda could also be a good enemies to enemies with benefits. Or even enemies to lovers.

Also, even though these are nominated under prequel trilogy, I'm not attached to that timeframe, so if you'd like to make it before or after, that works for me too!

Armitage Hux/Knights of Ren/Kylo Ren, Knights of Ren/Kylo Ren

I love Kylo and the Knights with or without Hux involved. I like the idea that Kylo and the Knights are in a relationship (whether it's serious or casual is up to you) and when Kylo meets Hux, he falls for him, but also likes what he has with his Knights. So they decide to invite Hux into their group. I like the idea of Hux being into it or just being completely bewildered (but somewhat intrigued) or downright refusing and needing to be courted. Another idea could be Kylo and the KoR all fighting over who gets Hux and eventually deciding to share - possibly all without ever consulting Hux. 

For smut purposes, I don't care much about top/bottom, so feel free to use whatever configuration you like!

Armitage Hux/Kylo Ren/Rose Tico, Kylo Ren/Rose Tico

I have a few ideas here. I like the idea of a redeemed or sorta redeemed Kylo and Hux who are working with Rose and they eventually start to get friendly. And then Kylo and Hux start getting jealous. Kylo sees Hux and Rose talking about mechanical stuff and getting along really well and hates that he doesn't have anything in common with her and Hux sees Kylo trying to be nice to her and gets protective because he thinks Kylo will hurt her. Maybe they talk things out and decide they can all be together. Or maybe Hux isn't romantically interested and when he realizes that's what Kylo wants, he backs off (but he's going to be keeping a close eye on them!)

Or if you like some hurt/comfort: Rose gets injured. Maybe it's a result of Kylo and Hux being stupid and fighting. But they need to work together to save her. Maybe Kylo has some sort of force suppressing device on and Hux removes it even though he's sure Kylo will do something terrible, but it's the only chance they have at helping Rose. Kylo and Hux figure out they both care about Rose and want to protect her and then Rose realizes she does have feelings for both of them even if they're both terrible people.

I also like either of these as an AU! A fantasy AU would be fun with Prince Kylo, Lord Armitage, and peasant Rose. Or Lady Rose and bandits Kylo and Hux. Or a bird AU with Kylo and Hux as big ravens or vultures and Rose as a Rose Robin or some other much smaller bird!

Sexually, I kinda like this as more of a V. So Kylo with Hux and Rose but Hux and Rose not doing too much with each other, but with Rose being more romantically involved with both of them and Kylo and Hux less so with each other. Also, preference is for Rose topping Kylo (and Hux if they are having sex with each other) but any configuration works.

Chewbacca/Snoke

They're both tall but Chewie is taller so I like to think that Snoke likes to be the small one in the relationship. I can't believe I'm writing this and another actual person might read this, but if sexual, would prefer Snoke to bottom.

Dopheld Mitaka/Rose Tico, Poe Dameron/Dopheld Mitaka, Knights of Ren/Dopheld Mitaka, Knights of Ren/Dopheld Mitaka/Rose Tico

I would like Mitaka to get a hug, please. I feel like all of these potential pairs with Mitaka would be very protective of him! For Rose or Poe, I like the idea that Mitaka defected. Or maybe he was found injured after a battle and Rose or Poe nursed him back to health and Mitaka fell in love with them because no one had ever been so kind to him. 

Poe and Mitaka I see as being very adventurous sexually. I like the idea of one (doesn't matter who) has a lot more experience with kinky stuff and teaching the other who is a bit clueless but enthusiastic.

Rose and Mitaka I see as just being adorable together. Lots of cuddles and stuff, but smut with them is good too!

With the KoR, I really just like the idea of six big, scary Knights watching out for their precious little lieutenant. Also, Mitaka tops all of them lol (any configuration is good though!). If you want to make something with only a few of the Knights, that's good too! 

With Mitaka and the KoR and Rose, however you want them to get together is fine with me! Maybe Mitaka and the KoR were a thing and then after the war, they're found by Rose and she falls for them (maybe she has no idea who they are at first). Or maybe Rose and Mitaka hook up and they run into his exes and they still have feelings for each other and Rose is like "why don't we all date each other?" Or maybe there's some ridiculous Only One Bed situation and all 8 of them have to share one bed. Although feel free to only use some of the KoR if all 6 is just too many! Or if you want even more, Kylo can be included!

Finn/Kylo Ren

I really like this as a one-sided thing with Kylo having a thing for Finn. I like the idea that Kylo knew Finn was Force sensitive and wanted him for the Knights of Ren/his boyfriend. When he felt his awakening on Jakku, he was preparing to start his training and then when he ran away, Kylo felt betrayed. A little canon divergence where Kylo becomes obsessed with Finn would be cool. Or maybe an AU where Finn stays with the First Order and becomes a Knight of Ren. Whether or not Finn has feelings for Kylo is optional, but I do kinda like the idea that Finn trains as one of the KoR but because he's the only one who joined after Kylo became their leader, maybe Kylo feels like Finn understands him the best and maybe they do get really close.

If Finn is a member of the KoR and you want to write him killing someone as his initiation, please don't make it Poe, Rey, Hux, or Mitaka

Finn/Rey/Knights of Ren, Knights of Ren/Rey/Rose

I really like the idea that the KoR survive and somehow end up with Finn and Rey or Rey and Rose. Whether they find them and take them home or the KoR seek them out. Do they teach each other about the Force? About sex? I feel like the KoR would have a lot of kinks and would help Finnrey or Reyrose discover new things and that Finnrey or Reyrose would be more loving partners than any the KoR had before. They might learn about aftercare and cuddles. With Finnrey, I imagine there might be a lot of Force-stuff going on. Maybe they use the Force to communicate and maybe the KoR introduce them to some of their sex rituals. And with Reyrose, there's less Force stuff and more sex and cuddles. It doesn't have to be with all of the KoR if 6 is too many!

Knights of Ren/Rose Tico

Similar to the other ships with Rose and the KoR. If you like anything about what I wrote for Mitaka/Rose/Kor or Rey/Rose/KoR and would like to put that with just Rose, go for it. One idea I have for Rose and the KoR is that she finds them stranded and helps them fix the Night Buzzard. I like the idea that she tells them it's garbage and they should just get a new ship but they love their ship and they all work together to fix it and bond over that. Maybe Rose is working late and the KoR invite her to sleep in their bed (Only One Bed on the Night Buzzard!) and she's tired and agrees. I also like the idea of an AU where Rose is a pirate of some kind and hires the KoR/works with them and they end up involved with each other. Or an AU where Rose is some sort of queen/lady/rich person and the KoR are her harem. Feel free to also include Kylo in the KoR if you'd like!

Phasma/Rose Tico

I really like AUs with this pairing, but something where Phasma finds and helps an injured Rose could work. Or Rose find an injured Phasma.

Poe Dameron/Armitage Hux/Kylo Ren

They're probably just going to fight but guess that means hate sex? But also - First Order Poe? Modern AU? Are they all secretly sleeping with each other (preferably in an open relationship scenario but infidelity okay too). Do they fall in love after the war? Or maybe they all knew each other before at different times and Poe still loves them both? Or for a bit of a darker flavor, Poe is captured by the First Order and ends up having a very dubcon relationship with Kylo and Hux. Or maybe Poe starts a relationship with them hoping they'll let their guard down and oh no. Now he has feelings!

Poe Dameron/Finn/Armitage Hux, Poe Dameron/Finn/Armitage Hux/Kylo Ren, Poe Dameron/Finn/Kylo Ren

So basically finnpoe + kylux. I'd love an enemies to lovers dynamic. It could be with redeemed (or semi-redeemed) kylux. I think they all have a lot of trauma, and it'd be interesting to see how they work through that together and how their relationship develops despite Kylo and Hux being responsible for a lot of that trauma. Or if that's not your thing, maybe it's a situation where Kylo and Hux were never evil (but still terrible people) and never directly hurt Finn or Poe. And if you want a crack situation, it'd be kinda fun to see them on one of those "wife swap" tv shows where one of each pair has to live with the other and there's lots of drama and stupid stuff happening but in the end, they all end up together.

Also could be fun in a fantasy setting where Kylo and Finn are princes of rival kingdoms and as part of a treaty, they have to get married. But Finn's in love with knight (or whatever) Poe and Kylo has a thing for his kingdom's general. But in the end, they realize they can all work together. If just Kylo, then you could just cut the part where he's already in love with Hux and if just Hux, then Hux can be the prince or Finn will be marrying the rival kingdom's general.

Poe Dameron/Sheev Palpatine

Somehow, Poe and Sheev are in love. This started because of a twitter poll over who has the nicest ass in Star Wars. Poe won and Sheev was second, so obviously, I need to ship them. I'd expect pure crack with no explanation for anything, but feel free to make it as serious as you want.

Rey/Rose Tico

I think these two would bond over ships and mechanics and stuff. And I would love them both being clueless lesbians with crushes and lots of requited pining. Maybe they need to have Only One Bed or maybe someone else has to give them a little push. Would love lots of cute stuff with them, but also smut if that's what you want to do. Cute smut, maybe?

Din Djarin/Luke Skywalker/Cobb Vanth

I like dincobb and dinluke so why not combine them and let Grogu have three dads? Any way you want to get the three of them together is fine with me. 

If you want to do a modern AU, I kinda like the idea of Din as an overprotective parent and Luke as Grogu's kindergarten or preschool teacher and Din is always around and even hangs out in the parking lot so he's there if his son needs him. And Cobb is the school security guard who is just trying to get Din to relax and after Din sits down with Cobb and Luke, he realizes Grogu is in very safe hands. And they are both really hot. And Luke and Cobb both really love how Din is so protective and end up with crushes and they both ask him out at the same time.

Armitage Hux's Mother/Maratelle Hux, Armitage Hux's Mother/Rae Sloane, Armitage Hux's Mother/Maratelle Hux/Rae Sloane

I love the idea of Hux's mom and Maratelle and/or Rae all bonding over mutual hatred of Brendol. And also having them all care about Armitage. I do like it when Hux's mom gets to raise Armie, either because she kept Brendol from keeping him, rescued him, or maybe Rae ran off with him. But Armitage doesn't need to be around at all if you'd rather not have him in the picture. 

One of my favorite things is that these women just fucking destroy Brendol. So if you'd like to write two or three women murdering a stupid sack of shit, PLEASE.

Kylo Ren/Tai

I like them being sweet and adorable together. They had a special bond and I just love that for Kylo, even if this ended very poorly. MCD okay for Tai, including making Kylo the one who kills him. But Tai Lives AU would be good. Maybe he joins Kylo when he turns and is slowly corrupted or maybe he stays the only good thing in his life. Or maybe he's Kylo's prisoner (please no straight up rape, but Tai trying to use sex to manipulate Kylo? YES)

Ren/Kylo Ren, Ren/Kylo Ren/Knights of Ren

I love Kylo getting railed by Ren Prime and the other knights. Like go crazy with the smut here if you'd like, or if you'd like to explore more of the emotional bond between them, I would love that too! MCD okay with Ren Prime. If writing gangbangs/rough sex, I would prefer that Kylo is enjoying himself. Although I do love bottom Kylo with 7 boyfriends, I don't mind if there's another dynamic going on either!

With just Ren, I really like the idea of Kylo thinking he's in love but for Ren, Kylo's just another hole to fuck

Ren/Luke Skywalker

I kinda like the idea that maybe post-ROTJ Luke met Ren and they explored different aspects of the Force together and had a little (or major) fling. Do they still have feelings? How does Luke feel about his former lover bringing Kylo to the darkside? Was it a one night stand or a long-lasting relationship? MCD okay - maybe Ren's Force ghost visits Luke and they reminisce about their time together (and Ren is still horny). Or a Ren lives AU where Ren ends up on Ahch-To with Luke and they just have a nice little time in exile. Also - a team up where they go off together to kick Kylo's ass because that would be fun.

Armitage Hux/Kyle Katarn/Kylo Ren, Kyle Katarn/Kylo Ren, Kyp Duron/Armitage Hux/Kylo Ren, Kyp Durron/Kylo Ren

I just like the idea of Kylo with one of the Legends Jedi, with or without Hux involved. It could be with dark side Kyle or Kyp or maybe they're still Jedi and are trying to help Kylo balancing out his own dark side. Also fine with non-evil Kylo and Hux! Feel free to use either universe or blend them together.

Finn/Jaina Solo

This just sounds interesting because Rey and Jaina are similar and I love finnrey, but Jaina is like 1000x more intense than Rey and I feel like Finn would be a little scared (and horny). I'd love to see them both as Jedi and working together. Feel free to set it in either universe or blend them together.

Poe Dameron/Jaina Solo, Poe Dameron/Corran Horn

I'm thinking of Jaina or Corran being in canonverse and as part of the Resistance. With Jaina, I like the idea of them as having been childhood friends but having gone separate ways as young teens and meeting back up when Poe left the New Republic to join the Resistance. Corran could be someone who he knew in the New Republic and who followed him to the Resistance or maybe they met in the Resistanace. Could also be Poe in the Legendsverse as part of Rogue Squadron.


Armitage Hux/Clyde Logan, Armitage Hux/Matt the Radar Technician, Armitage Hux/Matt the Radar Technician/Kylo Ren, Clan Techie/Armitage Hux/Kylo Ren, Clan Techie/Kylo Ren, Kylo Ren/Stensland, Kylo Ren/Thomas McGregor

I don't have many specific prompts for these pairings, but I honestly love any variation of Kylo/Hux and their adjacent pairings. These can be with canon-verse Kylo or Hux ending up on Earth or maybe the adjacent characters end up in space? I also really like modern AUs with these parings, but other settings would be amazing too! I also do not mind of these turn into groups. Basically I love any combination of Kylo/Hux/adjacent character(s).

For Kylo/Stensland I have one canonverse prompt: Kylo secretly has a boyfriend who lives in his quarters that no one knows about. In the middle of some kind of important negotiation, Hux is injured but determined to continue/refuses to look weak. Kylo says he'll handle it but Hux is Doubtful. Kylo introduces Hux to Stensland and says he can be his double and no one will know. So Stensland ends up trying to take Hux's place and it is a beautiful disaster. Does it work out? Or does the mission fail? Or maybe Stensland figures out some other way to make things work out. 

Kylo Ren/Sergey Razumovsky

This just seems so chaotic? Like. They would destroy EVERYTHING. I wanna see them burn down the entire galaxy. I've only seen the Major Grom movie as of writing this, but please feel free to use comics Sergey as well!

Rey/Kino Makoto

They'd be so cute together! Both of them are orphans and had to learn to be tough to take care of themselves but with each other they could be so soft! I love the idea of Makoto cooking and Rey devouring everything and Rey helping Makoto overcome her fear of planes/spaceships/flying.

Jagged Fel/Jaina Solo, Jagged Fel/Zekk/Jaina Solo

The best way to solve a love triangle is polyamory lol. I really like them being soft together, but also adventures and fighting and causing trouble. Or rescue missions! Hurt/comfort! With all three, I like the idea of becoming Joiners what starts that off, but I would like Zekk to have his own genuine feelings for Jag (eventually, at least) and not just feeling Jaina's emotions. 

Mara Jade/Luke Skywalker/Luuke Skywalker

Mara definitely needs two Lukes! One just isn't enough. Plus, having an evil clone around is good when she's got some scheme in mind that she knows Luke will never go through with. Prefer Mara to be involved with both Lukes, but no sexual activity directly between the Lukes. If they are close and cuddly and such with each other, that's fine!

Wedge Antilles/Mara Jade/Luke Skywalker

I prefer Legends Luke and Wedge, but feel free to take pieces of canon if you'd like. I like the idea of Wedge and Luke mutually pining, Mara notices and decides to set them up, but in the process, falls for both of them, and Wedge and Luke like her too so obviously, they should all just be together. Could also be an established relationship and they're all off having adventures together!

I requested this under Canon/Legends crossovers so yeah, if you wanna use canon versions of Luke or Wedge, that's fine or the Legends versions in canonverse. But also cool with just sticking with Legends.

Natasi Daala/Ysanne Isard

Evil ladies in space. What more can I say?  They'd be absolutely terrifying together. But also, maybe a sweet Isard Lives AU where they're retired and just two old women in love and watching another galaxy-wide war break out and not giving a fuck (Daala's built a defense for their new homeworld so they don't need to worry)

Talon Kardde/Luke Skywalker, Wedge Antilles/Talon Kardde

I'm feeling like there's some good fake relationship potential here. Kardde asks Luke or Wedge for help with something and makes it sound pretty simple. He just needs a Jedi and/or pilot. But really, he needed someone to pretend to be his husband and he just didn't mention this until it was too late to back out. But it'll benefit the New Republic/Jedi so might as well see it through.

Tycho Celchu/Luke Skywalker, Wedge Antilles/Luke Skywalker, Wedge Antilles/Tycho Celchu/Luke Skywalker, Wedge Antilles/Wes Janson, Wes Janson/Derek "Hobbie" Klivian

Hello, yes, I like X-wings and their pilots a normal amount. I'd love some soft moments between battles and that sort of thing. Or maybe someone feels like a mission going wrong was their fault and the other(s) comfort them.

Tenel Ka Djo/Jacen Solo

I would love for them to have a happy story. Whether it's just a moment of softness or an AU where they can be happy is good. I kinda like Tenel Ka realizing that Jacen is turning to the dark side and managing to pull him back. Or he survives and is redeemed and over time, Tenel Ka manages to forgive him (but probably never lets him anywhere near Allana for a long time).

Corran Horn/Luke Skywalker, Corran Horn/Mirax Terrik, Lando Calrissian/Mara Jade/Luke Skywalker

I saw these options and liked them, but nothing specific prompt wise. Some adventure and/or fluff would be nice though! If you'd like to do Corran/Luke and Corran/Mirax in the same fic, that's okay. Luke and Mirax can interact romantically or sexually or they can just both interact with Corran, but please let them be aware of the other!

I did not particularly care for those movies so if you wanna pick pieces from them or ignore them entirely, go for it! My go-to with Rey is that she's Han and Leia's daughter, but she can be Luke's or someone else's kid or no one's. And if Ben's last name is really  Organa... that's more than okay! Also, everyone can survive because why not? Except Pryde. Although if you want him to be alive so you can kill him, I am happy with that!

Kylo Ren/Armitage Hux, Armitage Hux/Matt the Radar Technician

My ultimate OTP! I love all flavors of kylux, but I am especially weak for any kind of soft kylux. If it's kylux, I'll love it. I love animal AUs, exile AUs, pre-TFA fics, them saving each other and being mad about it, hatesex that eventually turns to feelings, going on a mission together, only one bed. The list is very long, so I'll just leave it there because this will be too long otherwise.

With Matt, he can either be a separate character or Kylo in disguise.

Poe Dameron/Kylo Ren, Poe Dameron/Armitage Hux, Poe Dameron/Armitage Hux/Kylo Ren

I love all three of these guys together. They're probably just going to fight but guess that means hate sex? But also - First Order Poe? Lightside AU - Resistance mechanic Hux and Jedi Ben? For Poe and Hux, I like many situations. Enemies with benefits, AU where Poe is in the First Order or Hux is Resistance, Hux who's defected (maybe temporarily?), one of them losing their memory, on a mission in the same place and getting stuck together somewhere, one being forced to take care of the other. If one of them is a prisoner, I'd prefer Hux captured by the Resistance, although as long as nothing too terrible happens to Poe (especially from Hux), it's good the other way.

Finn/Rey, Poe/Finn, Poe/Finn/Rey

I love both of these ships so much, and of course, the trio together. Mostly I like soft stuff with them. I want them to be in love and happy. If it's angsty, please give them a happy ending! They've all been through so much so there is definitely some good angst material there, but I prefer a focus on the healing and not the trauma itself.

Bonus points if Finn is a Jedi or training to be one!

Kylo Ren/Rose

The one time I have a top/bottom preference because Rose would absolutely peg Kylo. This is one ship that I don't mind turning kinda dark - Rose hurting Kylo, making him pay for everything he's done, and somehow having it turn into a relationship. Or maybe it's a very one-sided thing where Kylo falls in love. Hurt no comfort and non-happy ending okay. But if you can make these two soft, heck yeah!

Dopheld Mitaka/Rose Tico, Poe Dameron/Dopheld Mitaka

These are a little strange but I like shipping Mitaka with different characters. Maybe he defects or survives the war and things just sort of happen. Or maybe he's captured and Rose or Poe end up guarding him and they can't help but like him. Could also be interesting to explore Mitaka adapting to life away from the First Order. Did he really believe in the cause? How would he come to terms with losing? Or did he lose faith in the Order and defect? How do the other Resistance members feel about him? Or it could be something where Mitaka is loved and taken care of because that's amazing too!

Phasma/Rose

I love these two bonding over mechanical stuff. Working on ships, maybe flying together. Or maybe Rose helps Rey build her lightsaber. In modern AUs, I love coffeshop AUs and other really soft type things.

Armitage Hux's Mother/Maratelle Hux

I love the idea of these two bonding over mutual hatred of Brendol. Have they managed to save Armitage from him? Are they trying to find him? Are they together on Arkanis or do they find each other later in life? Maybe they team up to find and murder Brendol? 

Holdo/Leia & Han, Holdo/Leia/Han, Holdo/Leia/Han & Poe/Finn/Rey

I'm not too picky about how Han fits into Holdo and Leia's relationship. Either all three of them together, only Han and Leia together, or he's just a really close friend to them. Maybe a past relationship with Han and Leia didn't work out but he's still around to help raise Ben. Or maybe Holdo and Leia just kinda like him around. 

I saw the option with both groups together and thought that could be fun. Older heroes helping mentor the younger ones and all that. It could be a situation where Poe, Finn, and Rey are having issues navigating polyamory and the older ones kinda help them through it. Or maybe they're helping them deal with the situation, either during the war or after (cause everyone can survive, why not?)

Leia/Han & Kylo

I love things where Han and Leia try to reach Kylo after he turned, or where Kylo thinks about them and maybe wants to go back. An AU where Kylo does go back to his parents would be awesome. I think they'd have a lot to deal with. Also, Han and Leia with baby Ben is always great.

Din Djarin/Cobb Vanth, Din Djarin/Luke Skywalker, Din Djarin/Cobb Vanth/Luke Skywalker

I really like Din with either Cobb or Luke or both. The one idea I had for all three was that Din goes back to Tattooine after Luke takes Grogu and Cobb sees how sad he is about losing his son and Cobb just happens to know of a Jedi from Tattooine who might be able to help find Grogu and Luke decides they should stay (for Grogu, of course). Or maybe Din goes on a solo mission to find Luke and Grogu and ends up staying with them. 

Cassian/Jabba,  Palpatine/Snoke, Jabba/Jar Jar

The "I'm not sorry" corner. Please let Cassian explore Jabba's texture.  Some exceptions to the DNWs here. MCD okay with the Palpatine ships. Mpreg also okay with Palpatine/Snoke or Jabba/Jar Jar. If the line between dub con and non con gets blurry with Palpatine/Snoke, that's okay too. Palpatine/Snoke and Jabba/Jar Jar are where I am okay with a lot of dark stuff - please feel free to injure/disfigure and give non-happy endings.

BB-8/BB-9E

It's just a cute ship. What could be better than two tiny robots in love? Is BB-8 trying to help BB-9E be less evil? Or is BB-8 being corrupted? I don't mind what pronouns you use for either of them.

Or if you're not feeling like doing something cute, maybe BB-9E seduces BB-8 to get intel. Maybe he blows BB-8 up. If you do want to kill off BB-8, that's cool, although I'd prefer BB-9E's little droid heart to not be broken.

Luke Skywalker/Ren

I kinda like the idea that maybe post-ROTJ Luke met him and they explored different aspects of the Force together and had a little (or major) fling. Do they still have feelings? How does Luke feel about his former lover bringing Kylo to the darkside? Maybe Ren survived and met up with Luke on Ahch-to. 

Ben Solo/Tai

I like to think of Tai as Ben's first boyfriend. Really soft themes are amazing here - first kisses, holding hands, and if not teenagers, exploring sex together. Does Ben save Tai and not turn? But also, the darker side of Ben is really interesting here. Is he hiding things from Tai? Maybe he's got some kinks he's afraid to talk about? Or maybe Tai survives and Ben still becomes Kylo? How does that change their relationship? Does Tai still try to save him or would he try to kill him? Does Kylo try to corrupt Tai? So basically, this can go really soft or really dark. Infidelity, non-happy endings, hurt no comfort, and Tai's death are all okay here. 

Kylo Ren/Ren

Let's see Kylo literally being seduced by the dark side! I usually see this as a very one-sided relationship emotionally with Kylo having very strong feelings for Ren but Ren being relatively indifferent to Kylo. If you want to write explicit, please feel free to go crazy with any and all kinks. I feel like Ren probably introduced Kylo to many new things.

Jagged Fel/Jaina Solo, Luke/Mara, Wedge/Luke/Mara, Wedge/Janson, Wedge/Tycho, Wedge/Luke

Soft moments between them are my favorite but I also love them going on adventures or getting into bar fights or any other fun thing you can come up with.

I don't have any specific prompts for any of these pairings, but they were all some of my favs in Legends. I would prefer Legends Luke than ST Luke, but if you have an idea that involves ST Luke, that's cool too.

Kylo & Knights of Ren

I would love to see something exploring their relationship. Is Kylo close with them? Does he have a favorite? Do the KoR even like him? Do they resent him for killing Ren? Do they go off and cause trouble on random worlds? Want to make it cracky and have them braiding Kylo's hair and painting his nails? That'd be great!

If you wanted to make this romantic and/or sexual, I'm okay with that. It could be between Kylo and one or all of the Knights, or between two or more Knights or any combination you wanna do.

Rey & Kylo, Padme & Kylo, Padme & Rey

I think Kylo and Rey have a very interesting relationship. Although I prefer them as siblings or cousins, they can also be enemies, allies, or friends. I really like hero and villain team ups if you want to go that direction. Or maybe Kylo goes to the Resistance with Rey and she helps him adjust and is the closest thing he has to a friend. Please no romantic attraction between them!

I love the idea of Kylo and/or Rey getting to know their grandmother. Maybe they go to Naboo and learn stories about her. Or maybe there's time travel. Or maybe Padme's a Force ghost. However you would like this to happen! I just want Kylo and Rey to know something about their grandma. 

And you've made it to the end! Congrats! I can't wait to see what you create!

 I wrote 18,742 words for September, which means it's my lowest month by far! But that's okay because I'm still more than on track to hit my goal of 350k this year! I'm at about 335k, so even if I have another month like September, I should hit my goal by the end of October!

Most of what I wrote was for two Kylux Big Bang fics so I can't say much about them, but I'm really excited about both projects. But here's some no-context excerpts.

Project 1 has two chapters to go and Project 2 has one chapter left, so I hope to wrap them both up this month so I can focus on a new project for NaNoWriMo. Right now, I'm thinking I'll either do my Sequel Trilogy rewrite or "American Harry Potter" which is an original thing that has nothing to do with Harry Potter besides the fact there's magic. 

The only fics I posted in September were for KyluxXoXo: Benefits of Crash Landing and Benefits of Force Sensitivity. They go together, although they also stand alone pretty well. And it's also another series that I might explore later on because I've always wanted to do something with Force sensitive Hux.

Forgot about making these posts for half the year. Oops. Anyway, I wrote 43,509 words in August and my yearly total is now over 300k! 

Mostly I've been working on two projects for the kylux big bang, which accounts for about half my wordcount for this month. My unrealistic goal for September is to finish both of them, but more realistically, I'll finish one in September and the other in October which will leave November for editing and NaNoWriMo. 

The other main project I worked on was my fox hux fic which is now finished! The last chapter will be posted September 4. So that means I'm finally done with multi-chaptered fics that were being posted as they were written! And hopefully I stop doing that for a while too. I also wrote a few little fics.

I Hate You So Much Here's Some Porn was written as a response to some really weird fandom "drama" that I still don't understand, but it was a perfect kylux scenario so I had to write it. You Were Just Nearby is a very short fic about the aftermath of the Hux comic, and since I love prompt boards, I also wrote Benefits of Crash Landing for the KyluxXoXo summer fest! 

Besides my big bang fics, I plan on writing the second part to crash landing and something fro the classic kylux throwback event. I'll also hopefully work a bit on some outlines of potential NaNo projects. Right now, I'm thinking of starting my sequel trilogy rewrite or an original thing that I'm just calling American Harry Potter. I feel like I'll have the sequel trilogy rewrite a little more developed, but I might end up coming up with some good stuff for the original fic too.

 Might as well make one of these every month. I wrote 47,185 words, putting me at just over 100k for the year! I hope to have a nice, productive March and then I'll probably slow down a bit as busy season at work starts in April.

I feel like I didn't accomplish as much as I wanted. Once again, my main project was The Worst Members of the Resistance. It's nearly at 90k and I think I've still got a ways to go since I am doing my best to redeem Kylo and Hux. And they're still being fucking shits. Of course, I'm probably going to be skipping around a lot because it's such a gradual process and there's not much happening in their lives. I do have a plan for the end and I should be able to finish in March. If not, it should be done in April.

Against All Odds is a fic I started where Hux is a fox shapeshifter. I did not really intend for this to become a multi-chaptered WIP, but it really wasn't a story I wanted to condense to a one shot. So now I have two WIPs that I'm writing, editing, and posting all at once. 

I also wrote some Finnrey smut for Valentine's Day, a little bit of hurt/comfort, a post-TLJ fic, and some Benarmie where Ben punches Brendol in the face. And I finished Lost to the Night, my first 100k fic!

Goals for March include finishing Worst Members of the Resistance, working on Against All Odds, and maybe a little bit more of Randy the Intern. I have a lot of things that I want to work on but February was rough. I don't know if I was just distracted or what. Hopefully March goes a little better!

This is the most I've ever used this thing. But I have a lot of feelings about this apparently.

I'm still trying to process the whole Hux thing. Because that still hurts, especially knowing that bit of backstory about Pryde being Brendol's friend. I really wish he could have had a better death. I know at least this way it's easy to write him back to life. I just hate that he's officially dead. And that one of his abusers killed him.

The thing I think that sorta added to the pain is that I was so used to fandom's interpretation of Hux. A scary, competent general. And even our interpretation of Kylo and Hux's relationship. To see Kylo treated him so poorly stung. Because I was so used to seeing them in a different way, because of all the amazing people of Kylux. I'd like to believe that Hux was meant to have a slightly different arc, one where he and Kylo did get along at least a little. 

But I realize that Hux is not a main character by any means and not someone most fans care about. Some fans still don't even know who Hux is. They don't know his past. So of course they just killed him off and got him out of the way of the plot. And that was the quickest, easiest way to do it and I'm sure no one considered what it meant to have Hux die the way he did for those who do know his backstory. The audience isn't supposed to feel much of anything for Hux. He even admits he's doing it just to get back at Ren. He's a petty asshole.

I was thinking about how I came to care for this character who gets so little screen time and is clearly not cared about by the writers of the movies. And that's why I want to say thank you to the fans. Because it was all of you who took this minor character, put so much more feeling and emotion into, fleshed him out in a way that the movies never would. And you made me care about Hux more than I ever thought possible and that is such a cool thing. 

I didn't really care for Hux at first. I liked him and Kylo together, but alone, I thought Hux was meh. Slowly, I started to admit to myself that yes, I did ship these two terrible assholes, and then I started to allow myself to like Hux. Just a little bit. I think it was only earlier this year that I really started to like him on his own. A big part of this was fandom's enthusiasm for him. And of course, the Hux comic. That was such a fun experience. And now, I've totally flipped. I care far more about Hux than Kylo right now. At least, as far as caring about their deaths, I care far more about Hux's and I never expected that. So thank you everyone who helped me experience this by making Hux such an interesting and fun character.

And he's ours now. We can do whatever we want with him in fanon. He survived, he wore armor, he killed Pryde instead, none of that ever happened, it was just a bad dream... we have so many ways to keep this character (and Kylo) alive.  There are still so many things to explore with Hux and I can't wait to read all the fics and see the art. And even exploring their deaths I think will be nice eventually. The idea that they died so close in time to each other is... not sweet, but it's something. I'm not quite ready for that. But someday, I will be.

 And man do I have some thoughts. Obviously spoilers ahead. In general I didn't exactly hate TROS but... I didn't love it either. And that makes me sad. I've been a Star Wars fan my entire life and to not love a Star Wars movie is a lot from me. I loved the prequels when they came out. I loved TFA. Initially, I even liked TLJ a bit more than this. 

There's gonna be a lot here so be prepared.

This is pretty much the end. Thank you everyone who's been reading! I'm really surprised and happy about how many people are reading/commenting/kudoing because I really thought this was gonna be a fic maybe two people read. I did up the total chapter count and I've started working on the fluffy epilogue although I haven't decided if I'm actually going to post it or not.  I do love some fluff, so I probably will? 

The epilogue will take place about a year later and I feel like it'll be 2k words at the most. If I don't finish and post it within two weeks, it's probably not happening. Although if I write it, I will likely post it somewhere.

Today's animal topic is focusing on the only animal mentioned in this chapter - raccoons! They're cute and smart and most people have no idea what they are, besides trash pandas. And they do love trash, but they are not bears. In some languages, their name does refer to bears, such as in German. Their scientific name as Kylo said is Procyon lotor. The lotor part means washing, and in many languages, their name makes reference to their washing behavior. Procyon means "before dog" because for a while, people thought raccoons and relatives were similar to the canine ancestor. But it's now believed they're actually most closely related to animals like weasels.



I mentioned that raccoons are often seen "washing" their food and that most names for raccoon refer to this behavior. It does look a lot like washing to human eyes, but they don't particularly care if their food is dirty. What they're doing is feeling it. Raccoons have an incredible sense of touch with really sensitive forepaws. In the wild, they are only doing this while foraging in the water. They'll pick up a food item and hold it under water and feel it. If they're finding food on land, they don't do this. In captivity, raccoons have been observed taking whatever kind of food they've been given to the water.



What do they eat? Typically, they'll eat whatever they can find, including trash. They are in the carnivore family, but they don't usually hunt anything large. It's usually more fish, amphibians, and bird eggs, as well as seeds, nuts, and fruits. Although they don't usually hunt large things, they can kill smaller animals, including poultry and smaller cats and dogs.

This can be a problem because these guys are very well adapted to living around people. Even in urban areas, you can find raccoons. They've really grown accustomed to being around people and we create lots of trash that they like to eat. But this isn't always a good thing. If you have small animals, obviously you don't want them getting attacked by a raccoon. But they can be dangerous to humans. This is mostly because they carry rabies.  Rabies affects animal behavior and makes them less flighty and more willing to let other animals approach. So if the animal is already used to being around people and lives in a city, this can create a very dangerous situation.

This doesn't mean raccoons are bad, but there's a few things you can do to keep yourself safe. One, make sure your pets have their rabies shots. This way, if they do get bit, they're protected. Two, don't feed raccoons. You should never feed any wild mammal. What it does is it tells them that people are a source of food and they will keep coming back. If they were nervous at first, it doesn't take long for them to lose that fear. Three, if you have places in your house like attics, you want to make that inaccessible to raccoons. They will have babies inside houses, and it can be tricky to raccoon proof a place, but it is doable. And four, never, ever touch a wild raccoon. If it comes up to you, it's probably best you scare it off so it learns that people are dicks. In the best case scenario, a raccoon approaching you just wants food. In the worst case, it has rabies and is going to bite you.


Please don't do this.

If you are bit by a raccoon, you do need to get rabies shots. I think there's five that you're supposed to get? All I know is that it's not pleasant. If you don't get the shot, you have a 99.9% chance of dying. I believe one person has been saved after developing symptoms of rabies. 

Although raccoons are native to North America, they have been imported as pets to other parts of the world such as Japan and Europe. They are considered an invasive species although how much effect they are having on native wildlife isn't certain. Although it is legal in some places to keep raccoons as pets, it is not recommended.

Raccoons are very intelligent animals, which means they will get into trouble. To make things worse, they have very dexterous paws and can open things that other animals can't do. My friend who works at a rehab says they are the worst animals they have to deal with. They are also social animals, which means you need to keep at least two. They can also be aggressive, even if raised by humans. The other huge issue is that people usually don't give them the best diet. Feeding them exclusively cat food can make them sick. They need a variety of foods, including meat, seafood, eggs, and fruits and veggies. With wild animals, it is best to mimic their natural diet as best as possible. 

So that's raccoon basics. There may be another chapter but this is probably it for the wildlife posts. But who knows. We did have an interesting conversation on the Kylux discord about animals today...
