2023 Rare Pairs Dear Creator

Thank you for creating something for me! I have a lot of things I like, so I hope it's pretty easy for you. But also, this letter gets long, so sorry about that. Please don't feel the need to read the entire thing. All the general stuff is up top and then I'll break it down into ships.

DNWs 

• Rape/non-con (mention of it happening in past okay, dub con okay)
• Any mention of reylo (preferably to the extent where there is 0 romantic attraction between them)
• Abuse, harm, or death of cats (vague mention past death okay, peaceful death okay eg euthanizing sick/dying cat)
• Mpreg*

• MCD *
• Underage (if both/all characters are underage and it is not explicit, that's cool)
• Incest
• Deadnaming Kylo Ren (okay if he hasn't turned yet or if it makes sense for a modern AU to call him Ben)

For MCD, I typically just mean whoever the requested characters are, although I also prefer Luke, Leia, Poe, Finn, Rey, Kylo, Hux, Mitaka, Din, and Grogu not die, even if they're not in the requested pairing. Exceptions for MCD are Sheev, Snoke, Jabba, Jar Jar, Brendol, Gideon, Count Dooku, Charlemagne, Constantine, and Clippy. Feel free to kill them even if they are in the requested pairing.

For mpreg, I don't mind for Jabba, Jar Jar, Sheev, Snoke, Clippy, or C-3PO being mpreged. I'm also fine with a male character asking to get pregnant or his partner saying they're going to get him pregnant and other such talk, but no actual pregnancy except for those mentioned. 

Things I don't care for as much

• Millicent the cat (or any earth-like cat) in canon setting
• Hurt no comfort
• Non-happy endings
• Permanent loss of Force abilities
• Pregnancy in general (I like kid fics, but prefer not to focus on pregnancy itself)
• Infidelity
• Sex pollen/fuck or die
• Scat (I actually don't quite know how I feel about this one, but if shipping kylux has taught me anything, it's that I like pretty much all kinks)

Although I am not a huge fan of these things, they're not hard no's and if you have an idea that requires some of these things, go for it!

This is not an exhaustive list. I basically love any kind of soft trope, although really, as long as it's not on my DNW list, it's all good! 

If you'd like to toss in other pairings in the background, I am okay with kylux, gingerpilot, finnpoe, finnrey, luke/mara, dincobb, or dinluke as long as none of those characters are involved in the requested pairing! So background kylux or gingerpilot is cool in a reyrose fic, but please not if it the main pairing also involves Hux with someone else.

For the most part, I don't care about top/bottom for sexual content. A few pairings have a preference, but there is not any pairing that it actually matters, so feel free to draw/write it the other way around if you'd like!

Also, for anything sequel trilogy related, feel free to ignore TLJ and TROS as much as you like. I did not particularly care for those movies so if you wanna pick pieces from them or ignore them entirely, go for it! My go-to with Rey is that she's Han and Leia's daughter, but she can be Luke's or someone else's kid. And if Ben's last name is actually Organa... that's more than okay! Also, everyone can survive because why not? Except Pryde. Although if you want him to be alive so you can kill him, I am happy with that!

In general, I'm okay with any version of the characters, even if they were nominated under something specific! Or mixing and matching versions of characters. Whatever makes your fic/art what you're happy with!

A lot of this is kinda fic centric, but if you are doing art: I love anything and everything! Cuddling and kissing are probably two of my favorite things in art but really, I would love anything you make!

Sequel Trilogy

 

Armitage Hux/Kylo Ren/Rose Tico

I have a few ideas here. I like the idea of a redeemed or sorta redeemed Kylo and Hux who are working with Rose and they eventually start to get friendly. And then Kylo and Hux start getting jealous. Kylo sees Hux and Rose talking about mechanical stuff and getting along really well and hates that he doesn't have anything in common with her and Hux sees Kylo trying to be nice to her and gets protective because he thinks Kylo will hurt her. Maybe they talk things out and decide they can all be together. Or maybe Hux isn't romantically interested and when he realizes that's what Kylo wants, he backs off (but he's going to be keeping a close eye on them!)

Or if you like some hurt/comfort: Rose gets injured. Maybe it's a result of Kylo and Hux being stupid and fighting. But they need to work together to save her. Maybe Kylo has some sort of force suppressing device on and Hux removes it even though he's sure Kylo will do something terrible, but it's the only chance they have at helping Rose. Kylo and Hux figure out they both care about Rose and want to protect her and then Rose realizes she does have feelings for both of them even if they're both terrible people.

I also like either of these as an AU! A fantasy AU would be fun with Prince Kylo, Lord Armitage, and peasant Rose. Or Lady Rose and bandits Kylo and Hux. Or a bird AU with Kylo and Hux as big ravens or vultures and Rose as a Rose Robin or some other much smaller bird!

Dopheld Mitaka/Rose Tico, Poe Dameron/Dopheld Mitaka, Poe Dameron/Dopheld Mitaka/Rose Tico

I just want Mitaka to get a hug and be loved. I like the idea that Mitaka defected. Or maybe he was found injured after a battle and Rose and/or Poe nursed him back to health and Mitaka fell in love with them because no one had ever been so kind to him. 

Poe and Mitaka I see as being very adventurous sexually. I like the idea of one (doesn't matter who) has a lot more experience with kinky stuff and teaching the other who is a bit clueless but enthusiastic.

Rose and Mitaka I see as just being adorable together. Lots of cuddles and stuff, but smut with them is good too!

Finn/Rey/Rose Tico, Poe Dameron/Finn/Rey/Rose Tico

I just think these groups are sweet and wholesome (and possibly very slutty together if you wanna go that route). I think this could be a messy during the war relationship where they're all involved with each other, not necessarily all at the same time but they're aware of the others. And then maybe navigating after the war when they have the time and realizing they all do like each other. Or maybe it's when the war's over and they're all realizing they can live their own lives and don't want to part from each other. 

I don't mind situation where they're not all romantically/sexually involved with everyone. So Rey who is dating Finn and she's dating Rose and Finn and Rose are both aware and okay with it. Or Finn and Poe are dating and Rey and Rose are dating and Finn and Rey are dating, but Poe isn't doing anything with Rey or Rose and Rose isn't involved with Poe or Finn. Of course, I also love when they are all in love with each other too!

Kylo Ren/Rose Tico

This one might require an AU to get them together. Either that or maybe Rose is part of the First Order. I also don't mind redeemed (or "redeemed") Kylo that somehow manages to get Rose to like him enough to start a relationship. A hatesex situation could work too, although maybe with most of the hate on Rose's part and Kylo just being horny and not caring. Also Rose pegging Kylo? Fuck yes. 

 

Phasma/Rose Tico

size difference :)

I usually feel like these two work best in AUs but if you can make them work in canon, go for it :)

Poe Dameron/Armitage Hux/Kylo Ren

They're probably just going to fight but guess that means hate sex? But also - First Order Poe? Modern AU? Are they all secretly sleeping with each other (preferably in an open relationship scenario but infidelity okay too). Do they fall in love after the war? Or maybe they all knew each other before at different times and Poe still loves them both? Or for a bit of a darker flavor, Poe is captured by the First Order and ends up having a very dubcon relationship with Kylo and Hux. Or maybe Poe starts a relationship with them hoping they'll let their guard down and oh no. Now he has feelings!

 

Poe Dameron/Finn/Armitage Hux/Kylo Ren

So basically finnpoe + kylux. I'd love an enemies to lovers dynamic. It could be with redeemed (or semi-redeemed) kylux. I think they all have a lot of trauma, and it'd be interesting to see how they work through that together and how their relationship develops despite Kylo and Hux being responsible for a lot of that trauma. Or if that's not your thing, maybe it's a situation where Kylo and Hux were never evil (but still terrible people) and never directly hurt Finn or Poe. And if you want a crack situation, it'd be kinda fun to see them on one of those "wife swap" tv shows where one of each pair has to live with the other and there's lots of drama and stupid stuff happening but in the end, they all end up together.

 

Also could be fun in a fantasy setting where Kylo and Finn are princes of rival kingdoms and as part of a treaty, they have to get married. But Finn's in love with knight (or whatever) Poe and Kylo has a thing for his kingdom's general. But in the end, they realize they can all work together. 

Rey/Rose Tico

I think these two would bond over ships and mechanics and stuff. And I would love them both being clueless lesbians with crushes and lots of requited pining. Maybe they need to have Only One Bed or maybe someone else has to give them a little push. Would love lots of cute stuff with them, but also smut if that's what you want to do. Cute smut, maybe?

Sheev Palpatine/Snoke

If you wanna keep the idea that Sheev made Snoke, I'm okay with that because honestly, it's a really funny idea that Sheev had to make his own boyfriend. But also, Snoke can be whatever else you want him to be. I just want him and Sheev to have weird, dark-side relationship.  Like seriously, be weird with them. Like if they're in some kind of long term dark side ritual and that's their entire relationship or their hands get stuck together with dark side super glue. If you wanna do sex, I love super weird genitals and Force lightning being involved. Although maybe they're also having the most vanilla sex because they can't manage anything else. Or they're trying really hard to fuck, but they're out of space viagra. I do prefer bottom Snoke for this one.

 

Chewbacca/Snoke
 

I don't know. I just think it should be a thing. Chewbacca tenderly cradling Snoke after a long day of trying to rule the galaxy. Chewie comforting Snoke while Snoke complains about his useless subordinates. Also they could be having absolutely wild sex because why not? I would prefer bottom Snoke here.

The Mandalorian

 

Brendol Hux/Gilad Pellaeon, Moff Gideon/Brendol Hux, Moff Gideon/Brendol Hux/Gilad Pellaeon

Everyone else saw that two minute scene in Mando and thought Pellaeon and Brendol were fucking, right?  I also like the idea of Gideon fucking Brendol, and of course, I gotta combine that into one relationship. I had a scenario in mind where Brendol is basically Pellaeon's bitch  and Pellaeon loans him to Gideon (maybe as part of some deal idk). And I just love where Brendol is a massive slut, so he's happy to let Gideon fuck him. Also, it's good when Gideon and Brendol are in a hatesex relationship and they're fucking whenever they happen to cross paths (but they're angry about it). 

 

For these ships, I would want to have Brendol as the bottom.

Please feel free to use different versions of Brendol and Pellaeon (including Legends) because I know they were barely in that episode so there's not much to go on. But also feel free to make things up.

Luke Skywalker/Din Djarin/Cobb Vanth

I like dincobb and dinluke so why not combine them and let Grogu have three dads? Any way you want to get the three of them together is fine with me. I love the three of them getting to be soft with each other and being in love and also being good dads. If you wanna go with something plottier, I love the idea of Grogu being in danger and all three of them going on a rescue mission and just going crazy to get their kid back (or maybe the rescue mission is where they fall in love)

 

Canon EU

 

Armitage Hux's Mother/Rae Sloane, Armitage Hux's Mother/Maratelle Hux, Armitage Hux's Mother/Maratelle Hux/Rae Sloane

So there's a few things that I like here. One, Hux's mom being developed into a character. Two, her having a girlfriend(s)/wife(s). And three, women who Really Fucken Hate Brendol Hux and want to murder him. I do love these women killing Brendol, but bonding over mutual hatred is good too. I love scenarios where Hux's mom is able to protect him from Brendol and run away with him and keep him from ever being in the First Order or at least saving him before he's too far down that path, so feel free to explore that if you like.

Legends

Corran Horn/Luke Skywalker

Luke and Corran are two of my favs, so of course, they should hook up. They can bond over Rogue Squadron and Jedi stuff and cuddle (or bang, whatever you like). If they are married, I would want Mirax and Mara to know and be cool with it. Also feel free to combine with Mara/Mirax, either as two separate pairings or all four of them together.

Mara Jade/Mirax Terrik

I feel like they would just have a lot of respect for each other and that could easily lead to them getting together. Maybe they're on a mission together and they get stranded and just end up growing really close. Or they're stuck somewhere cold and have to huddle for warmth and one thing leads to another. Or maybe they just have a long-standing relationship and hook up whenever they can. If they are married, I would want Luke and Corran to know about the relationship and be okay with it. It could also be a thing where Mara and Mirax fuck and Luke and Corran are fucking. But also it's cool if it's a scenario where they're not married.

Jaina Solo/Jagged Fel

One of the first things I ever shipped! I love everything about them. If you wanna do soft moments between them or them having adventures or getting into bar fights or bailing each other out of jail. I just love them. 

Mara Jade/Luke Skywalker/Luuke Skywalker

Mara needs two Lukes because she'll wear one out. Also, I know Luke would be the guy who says, "I would not fuck my clone because what if he's evil?" and Mara would be like, "If you're not going to fuck him, I will." I absolutely love Mara topping, but cool with one or both Lukes topping too. 

I like this a little better where Mara is fucking both Lukes but they're not sexually involved with each other. Maybe more cuddling than anything else. But if you wanna do it where all three are sexually involved, that's fine.

Talon Karrde/Luke Skywalker

I'm feeling like there's some good fake relationship potential here. Karrde asks Luke for help with something and makes it sound pretty simple. He just needs a Jedi. But really, he needed someone to pretend to be his husband and he just didn't mention this until it was too late to back out. But it'll benefit the Jedi (or New Republic or whoever) so might as well see it through. 

 

Wedge Antilles/Mara Jade/Luke Skywalker

I like the idea of Wedge and Luke mutually pining, Mara notices and decides to set them up, but in the process, falls for both of them, and Wedge and Luke like her too so obviously, they should all just be together. Could also be an established relationship and they're all off having adventures together! 

I don't mind if this is all three together or Luke with Mara and Wedge in semi-separate relationships and Wedge and Mara are cool with it.


Wedge Antilles/Corran Horn, Wedge Antilles/Luke Skywalker

I love them getting to be soft with each other between battles. Also pilot shenanigans. Doing inappropriate things in an X-wing cockpit. Also this can be Wedge/Corran/Luke if you like, but I don't think three of them will fit in one cockpit, even if two of them have the Force.

Star Wars Crossovers

Jabba the Hutt/Cassian Andor

Please let Cassian feel Jabba's texture! Go for pure crack if you'd like or maybe Cassian's on a mission and he needs to get close to Jabba and things escalate. Maybe Cassian is undercover as a slave and Jabba takes a liking to him. And if you want to write Jabba smut, please feel free to use real life gastropod mating as a guide because that shit is wild. But also, feel free to just not do that because I know that's not everyone's thing!

Jabba the Hutt/Jar Jar Binks, Jabba the Hutt/Jar Jar Binks/Sheev Palpatine, Jabba the Hutt/Jar Jar Binks/Sheev Palpatine/Snoke, Jar Jar Binks/Sheev Palpatine

These are all very normal ships. Feel free to go completely wild with them. Make it pure crack or a silly romcom or smut or take it extremely seriously. I love Darth Jar Jar, but clueless Jar Jar is fun too. For smut, I love weird genitalia and weird sex. If you wanna do some soft cuddles, that's cool too. 



Sheev Palpatine/Brendol Hux

I just think Brendol loves dick and having the Emperor's dick in him would be the best thing Brendol could ever experience. Feel free to be serious with this or take it in a crack direction. I would want Brendol to bottom and feel free to kill off either Sheev or Brendol or both. I think it'd be kinda funny if Sheev has a heart attack while fucking Brendol and Brendol panics cause he killed Palpy and dies too.

Din Djarin/Jar Jar Binks, Jar Jar Binks/Kelleran Beq

These are two ships I'd never thought of but now that I have, I'm gonna keep thinking about them. I'm not sure if I like these more as crack or serious, so anything goes. I don't have too many thoughts or any prompts, but I would really love to see either of these ships in any form.

Prequel Trilogy

Jar Jar Binks/Mace Windu, Jar Jar Binks/Sheev Palpatine

Feel free to combine this into Jar Jar/Mace/Sheev. I love Darth Jar Jar. Like what if there's a scenario where Darth Jar Jar and Sheev decide to have Jar Jar seduce Mace to keep him distracted from the fact that Sheev's a Sith Lord? It could also work where Jar Jar is not a Sith but Sheev is busy getting Jar Jar and Mace to fall in love because he needs Mace distracted for his plans to work.

Obi-Wan Kenobi

Haja Estree/Reva Sevander

I saw this and knew it could be a fun ship. Like it feels like it's so much crack but also, what if it is very serious? And they're truly in love with each other? Also I like the idea of Haja trying to make Reva laugh because she probably never does.

Reva Sevander/Light Side Female Force User OC

 

I would love Reva to find a light side Force user that she could fall in love with. It'd probably take a long time, but eventually, they could love and trust each other so much. And they can teach each other about the different sides of the Force. I don't mind if the OC is a Jedi or some other Force user. Don't mind what species she is either if you wanna make her non-human.

Non-Star Wars Crossovers

Armitage Hux/Clyde Logan, Kylo Ren/Stensland, Armitage Hux/Matt the Radar Technician, Kylo Ren/Thomas McGregor

I do like these ships in a soft variety, especially Hux/Clyde. But soft versions of all of them are good. Hux/Matt would be the one that I also really like a little more aggressive. Like Hux thinks Matt is Kylo and treats him like he would Kylo until he sees them at the same time together. But Matt likes the rough treatment so they keep it up. Kylo/Stensland I think could be a fun disaster (but also soft) and Kylo/Thomas is just fun.

I don't mind if Hux thinks his partner looks like Kylo or Kylo thinks his partner looks like Hux. Although it's also great when they are convinced that their partner absolutely does not look like their co-commander at all! 

If you'd like to combine these ships a bit, that's cool. Really any combination would be interesting. So either kylux with one or more of the others or just Kylo or Hux with whichever others you like. 

Sheev Palpatine/Clippy, Brendol Hux/Clippy, Sheev Palpatine/Snoke/Clippy, Sheev Palpatine/Jar Jar Binks/Jabba/Brendol Hux/Clippy

Of course I need some Clippy ships here! The more ridiculous this is, the better. I love smut with Clippy just cause it's funny. Feel free to get creative with how Clippy has sex. 

I don't mind MCD or mpreg with these ships. Go wild. Please. 

If writing smut, I prefer bottom Brendol. I don't have as strong a preference for the others although slight preference for bottom Snoke. 





C-3PO/Clippy

I guess this is a more wholesome Clippy ship. I just think they'd be so annoying together while they think they're being helpful and everyone around them is trying to get them to stop. Like this could honestly be very soft. Or just pure crack. Or write smut with them cause why not?

Dopheld Mitaka/Clippy

I really have no idea. I just like shipping Mitaka and Clippy with everyone so why not ship them together? Silly scenario: Mitaka becomes emperor with Clippy's help. 

Kylo Ren/Sergey Razumovsky

Look, they'd just be so chaotic together. Think about how much stuff would be on fire. Literally everything. It would be a disaster and they could kiss among the flames and bodies of their enemies. 

I've only read a little of the comics and am more familiar with the movie version, but I am totally cool with whatever version of Sergey you want to use!

Count Dooku/Charlemagne, Sheev Palpatine/Constantine I

I have no idea. But why not? I don't mind if the historical figures are in the SW universe or Sith Lords are dropped into history (with or without the Force). Or if it's some other AU. Make it weird or cute or angsty. Maybe they can be combined where Constantine and Sheev rule one empire and Dooku and Charlemagne rule another and they're at war. Nevermind the 500 or so years between Constantine and Charlemagne.
